Oppo Opinions: Is This A Good Idea?

What's up Oppo? So, you remember that Geo Storm I posted last night? If not, here's the link. !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! It looks to be a GSi. Sure, its an auto, but it looks decently clean, and is only $500. I showed it to a good friend of mine this morning, and he wants to the cost of the car 50/50 with me, and split the price we sell it for. We got storage for it, and we both can afford our end. Now, let me ask you Oppo. Is this a good idea? How much do you think we can sell this car for? Do you think I can convince my parents?

P.S. I won't be able to respond for an hour or so, since I'm in class.

I'd say maybe like $750-$1,000 (more if you can get the hatch fixed??).

In which, doesn't seem like a good idea unless you were planning on keeping it.

I feel like "geo" and "good idea" don't go well together, but for $250 it might be a fun project... Link doesn't work for me

I'd say it is probably the most fun you will have for that little money. I always liked those cars, and if memory serves me right,it shares guts with the Isuzu Impulse, so it should be okay for the price.

Yeah, valid point. It seemed like something fun for $250, especially if we turned a profit. The car sold, so that's why the link doesn't work.
